Introduction to the OpenEnumeration Cloud Premade Widget

The OpenEnumeration Cloud widget is a premade iframe-based widget that allows you to insert a OpenEnumeration Cloud on any page that supports iframes. By simply including one line of iframe code, the OpenEnumeration Cloud will appear on the page with a list of all entries in an OpenEnumeration bucket, reflecting the total number of supplier entries for each term.

What is an OpenEnumeration Cloud?

OpenEnumeration Clouds are derived from OpenEnumeration buckets. OpenEnumeration buckets are used in the Supplier Discovery application to allow suppliers to add various free-form entries to fields such as Business Model, Certification, and Material Experience. Suppliers can add existing entries to their own profile, or add a new term will which will then become a new entry in the selected OpenEnumeration bucket.

OpenEnumeration Clouds provide a visual indicator of all of the terms in a chosen bucket, along with the relative frequency of that each entry across all supplier profiles. Entries are displayed in alphabetical order, and each entry's font size shows the frequency of that entry. Larger font sizes reflect an entry that is in a larger number of supplier profiles, and smaller font sizes reflect an entry in fewer supplier profiles.

Important Note Regarding OpenEnumeration Clouds

Please note that some OpenEnumeration bucket entries may appear to be duplicated. These are, however, not duplicate entries but instead cases where different suppliers have added an entry with subtle differences (for example, with and without a space between words in a certification), which may not be immediately apparent, especially when the font size is comparatively small.

The OpenEnumeration Cloud widget can be added in a variety of sizes to fit the design and layout of your page. Two possible sizes are shown below, with the appropriate HTML code to add them.

Example of 100% width and 600px height:

   1 <iframe style="width:100%; height:600px;" src="//" frameborder="0"></iframe>

Example of 400px by 300px:

   1 <iframe style="width:400px; height:300px;" src="//" frameborder="0"></iframe>

Displaying an OpenEnumeration Cloud for One Bucket

The widget can also be "locked" to one bucket by passing a "bucket" parameter to the iframe source, as shown in the example below that is locked to Metal (using the small suggested size).

   1 <iframe style="width:400px; height:300px;" src="//" frameborder="0"></iframe>
